Finally, after much pain and perseverance, Reb learns how to be in harmony with the ring and unleash its amazing powers. 

Not knowing how powerful the ring really is, and being down in a deep cave, Reb can think of only one thing; sunlight. 

The ring senses that Reb wants sunlight and immediately blows the top of the mountain off to give Reb the sunlight that he desires.  Reb, upon seeing the sunlight realizes that maybe it was a bit too drastic.
